Summer School Catalogs
2017 AEF summer school catalogs were distributed to AUSD students at their school site on Friday, March 10th. If your student is not currently enrolled in an AUSD school, you can request a catalog by emailing us at . Please include student name(s), current school (and city), and indicate the grade student will be enrolled in the fall. We will email catalogs beginning Monday, March 13th.
Registration Information – First Opportunity to Enroll
The first opportunity to enroll in the AEF summer school program will be at our
Spring into Summer Registration and Kick-off on Saturday, March 25th.

This event will be held at the front of Holly Avenue elementary school on Duarte Road from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. To speed up the registration process, please ensure the front of the registration form is completed prior to arrival as well as course registration on the back side, if known. In addition, please bring the payment information sheet which will be needed to complete the registration process.
We have allowed several weeks between the release of our catalogs and the first opportunity to enroll to allow families to discuss desired courses, course requirements (if any), and to seek additional information from our AEF office staff or student counselors if necessary.
Registration by Mail or Register in Person
Beginning Monday, March 27th, registrations will be accepted by mail in the envelope provided or in person at our summer school office. Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed for lunch from 12 to 1 p.m. Additional information including our mailing address and summer school office directions are available on page 2 of the AEF summer school catalog. The $30.00 Registration Fee will be waived for registrations received in our office by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12th.
Special Notification for High School Chemistry Course Enrollment
Due to the high demand for Chemistry classes, all registrations for Chemistry received during the Early Enrollment period (March 25th – April 12th) will be grouped by grade level. Qualifying students will be placed in Chemistry classes by grade level seniority, then by Spring into Summer grade level enrollment number, thereafter by date received.
Registration forms for Chemistry must be complete in order to be considered for placement in a Chemistry class. The registration form is considered complete if it includes all requested information, required signatures, payment and payment form, and the course eligibility is met.
